Members of the Greenwich community and surrounding towns are invited to attend “A Festive Evening on the Avenue” Thursday, Dec. 3, from 6:30-8:30, at Saks Fifth Avenue, 205 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich. The event will benefit Fairfield-based Save the Children’s relief efforts surrounding the Syrian refugee crisis.

Guests can enjoy holiday cocktails, appetizers, complimentary makeovers and holiday shopping.

Tickets to the annual event, hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue and Save the Children’s Greenwich Leadership Council, cost $20 and may be purchased at savethechildren.org/glc-saks-event, or at the door, with 100% of the ticket proceeds going to Save the Children’s response work surrounding the Syrian refugee crisis. Saks Fifth Avenue also will donate 10% of the evening’s shopping sales to Save the Children.

Chairs for the benefit are Elizabeth O’Brien and Jeanne Mininall. Vice President of Humanitarian Response at Save the Children, Greg Ramm, will serve as guest speaker, discussing the Syrian Refugee Crisis.
