Armenia: Project To Help Syrian Refugeeimage

New project in Armenia to help the Syrian Armeians integrate in the society, it will be implemented in Yerevan also in Shirak, Lori, Aragatsotn, Ararat and Armavir regions from March 2015 to February 2017. It will be carried out in the Armenian labor market and a special database on professional experience of refugees will be created. Refugees will get advice and have a chance to attend training courses, along with financial support for starting up their companies, an educational program will be implemented for kids to help them integrate through foreign language courses, and free stationery will be provided to schoolchildren. The program is implemented in cooperation with the Armenian Red Cross, the EU, Armenia’s ministry of diaspora and the Austrian Red Cross, Ninety-four percent of the required funds will be provided by the EU and the remaining 6% by the Red Cross.
