A Kuwait military aircraft carrying 11 tonnes of relief for Syrian refugees arrived to Beirut, Lebanon, on Sunday evening.
The military aircraft was submitted by the Kuwait supreme committee for relief of Syrian refugees.
The aircraft shipment included food products, children’s sweets, milk, and other items.
Abdullah Al-Kamali, an official tasked with overseeing the operation mentioned that the relief had been made available thanks to the generous contributions of the Kuwaiti people, whose sole aim is to ease the burned on Syrian refugees in Lebanon and other neighbouring nations.
In addition to that and according to estimates the number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon had reached one million refugee, with most of these concentrated in the north.
Kuwait, on the government and person-to-person levels, has been the largest donor nation to Syrian refugees.
