The Kuwait Red Crescent Society opened on Friday 9 October, a playground for children of Syrian refugees in the town of Katrmaya in Chouf, the Lebanese region.

The Assembly delegate to Lebanon, said after the ceremony held celebrating the opening of playground, that the project «supports refugee children psychologically and alleviate their suffering», According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

He added that the opening of the playground coincided with the distribution of 700 share of food and cleaning products, explaining that the current aid distribution phase will include the provision of 15 thousand food share covering various areas of Lebanon.

He revealed the intention of the Assembly to establish two similar playground in the Bekaa area eastern Lebanon and in Wadi Khaled region in the north.

He confirmed that the Assembly will continue its humanitarian aid to the Syrian people in the neighboring countries, pointing that its programs seeking to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian families and meet their needs.
