Police arrested Tuesday three Syrian nationals in east Lebanon for forging documents to smuggle refugees into the country, the National News Agency reported. NNA said State Security arrested Abdel-Jawad al-Salloum, Mahmoud Nayef and Mamoun al-Akle in the district of Zahle. The three detainees had been using forged documents and entry permits to bring Syrians across the borders, the state-run agency added. Lebanon stopped accepting Syrian refugees late last year after at least 1.2 million had fled to Lebanon since the beginning of the Syrian war. Lebanon is struggling to cope with the influx of refugees amid a lack of international support. – See more at: http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/Lebanon-News/2015/Feb-05/286490-lebanon-arrests-3-for-forging-syrian-entry-permits.ashx#sthash.SkRK0gqS.dpuf
