International Medical Association provided, on Thursday, medical assistance to 236 Syrian refugees who have physical disabilities in “Veranshahyr” refugees camp in the state of Sanli Urfa in southern Turkey.

The camp director “Zaki Kaya” said the International Medical Association officials visited the refugees camp, earlier today, and conducted medical tests on the 236 refugees physically disabled they have health problems in the camp, after considering their cases and their needs, they were given medical supplies such as chairs moving, tools and other devices to help them to walk.

“Huzaifah Jeter” the mayor of the town of Veranshahyr, said that there are large numbers of Syrian refugees, who fled from the Syrian regime’s killing machine, adding that “the long war in Syria, it is not only distracting the people away from their homes, but also can see a lot of the effects of war in the bodies of Syrians, some of them lost his leg, and some of them lost his hands and subjected to various physical disabilities “, and he expressed gratitude of the International Medical Association officials for supporting the cases of the Syrians wounded and providing medical supplies to those in need for them.
