«Mercy International» sent the convoy 227 to Syrian refugees in Jordanimage

The Mercy International of social reform Association announced about sending of the relief convoy, which carried the number 227 and comes as part of a project relief convoys, in an effort to aid the Syrian people by the Kuwaiti charities.

In this regard, Dr. Walid Al-Anjari, the coordinator of the Syrian relief convoys, said that 355 Syrian families (1775 people) benefited from the relief provided by the convoy, pointing out that 11,200 dinars distributed to refugee families, noting that the convoy carried out its program over several days in moderation areas: Irbid and Alon in Jordan which is witnessing a high proportion of the Syrian refugees.

And about the program, Anjari explained that it included provide cash assistance to the Syrian families, with the establishment of the loyalty ceremony for the martyrs of Kuwait in anniversary 02/08/1990, in addition to supporting Irbid orphans Centre, and the distribution of school bags, and pay the rent of Hashemi School for the month 8/2015.

Anjari said that convoys of Mercy relief is a qualitative project was carried out by releasing Mercy International since February 2012 by targeting variety relief axes which included (implementation of educational and Sanitary projects provide cash assistance for families – food parcels – accessories and household needs – fitted with prostheses – the payment of apartments rents – ensure orphans and families – Medicines, supplies and medical bags – children’s games – educational books – and heating supplies).
