Red Crescent Authority received from the international diplomatic group for wives of ambassadors accredited to the State the amount of 580 thousand dirhams a donation to help the children of Syrian refugees in Jordan.

This gesture comes from the wives of ambassadors interaction with “Trahmwa” campaign launched by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the relief of Syrian refugees and displaced Syrian who affected by the wave of snow and rain that hit the area during the past winter, humane kind contribution of «mother Emirates» Sheikha Fatima, president of the General Women’s Union, President of the Family Development Foundation, president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.

Fahd Abdul Rahman bin Sultan, Deputy Secretary General of fundraising and marketing of the UAE Red Crescent Society, during a meeting at the headquarters of the main body of the head of Abu Dhabi and members of the international diplomatic group for wives of ambassadors accredited to the State, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wives of ambassadors who contribute effectively to support the programs and activities of humanitarian Red Crescent provided by the Authority for Syrian refugees in asylum camps in neighbouring countries.

From her side, Nadia Mustafa Hachani, wife of the Libyan ambassador to the State President of the International Group for diplomatic wives of ambassadors accredited to the UAE, confirmed that the charity market which held by the wives of ambassadors in favour of children Syrian refugee significantly succeeded thanks to humanitarian contribution from the mother Emirates Sheikha Fatima, and her donation of $ 500 thousand dirhams to the market charity bazaar which held by the Group at the headquarters of the General Women’s Union in Abu Dhabi in cooperation with the General Women’s Union and The Red Crescent body.

The head of the group explained that this charitable work in harmony with “Trahmwa” campaign which ongoing relief children of Syrian refugees, adding that the proceeds of the charity market amounted to 580 thousand dirhams, of which 500 thousand of our ideal in humanitarian work Sheikha Fatima, who supports an ongoing basis the Group efforts in all aspects of humanitarian, social and charitable work.
