The British city Liverpool hosts a charity concert to support Syrian refugees

In the British city of Liverpool organized a charity concert aims to raise funds to help Syrian refugees who are affected by the ongoing war in their country. And the musical concert hosts the British comedian John Bishop, which takes place on the nineteenth of this month.

Liverpool based on its reputation in the global music to save threatened in different parts of the world, according to city mayor Joy Anderson. He said that the Liverpool reaction to the terrible news received last week on the ongoing Syrian refugee crisis was great.

He added: “When it comes to supporting the families whose houses were destroyed, Liverpool come in the first place.” And he pointed out that the city is working to strengthen its role through the charity concert, which raises the slogan “With love from Liverpool.”

Among the participants in the concert the bands “The Farm” and “OMD” and singer John Bauer.

Peter Hoton, lead singer of the band “The Farm” said: “we did not hesitate to participate in the concert, although we only knew about it from a short time.” He added: “the humanitarian crisis moved us, and we have to play a role in supporting those in need”.
